Ahupuaa

[Metadata]  Ahupuaa Layer (Historic Land Divisions), including names with diacritical marks. 

Source:  Original layer: Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA), October, 2009. Updates: April, 2017: spellings and diacritical marks verified and corrected by DLNR, SHPD; March 2021: Several additional attribute value corrections provided by DLNR SHPD; February 2024: Ahupuaʻa ʻo Maunalua and Kuliʻouʻou (Oʻahu) added and included in the moku ʻo Kona. Prior version had the entire area labeled as the ahupuaʻa ʻo Waimānalo in the moku ʻo Koʻolaupoko. Please see complete metadata referenced below for details. July 2026:  Updates were made by State Historic Preservation Division (SHPD) to the moku and ahupuaʻa layers for a section of east Oʻahu, based upon supporting documentation received by SHPD.  Maunalua and Kuliʻouʻou are now within the moku of Kona. Previously they were within the moku of Koʻolaupoko and considered a part of Waimānalo. See full metadata for more information.
