About this dataset

[Metadata]  Description:  Restricted Watersheds, DLNR DOFAW, 2005.

"Restricted Watersheds" are those watersheds where water supplies are vulnerable to contamination by public access and are therefore restricted from public access.  Access to those watersheds requires permits.  For detailed information, refer to Hawaii Administrative Rules, Title 13, DLNR, Subtitle 5 Forestry and Wildlife, Part 1 Forestry, Chapter 105, Rules Regulating Restricted Watersheds.

May 2024:  Hawaii Statewide GIS Program staff removed extraneous fields that had been added as part of the 2016 GIS database conversion and were no longer needed.
